Submission Guidelines
All manuscripts must be accompanied by:
A covering letter with the name(s) of the author(s),
official
designation, institution/affiliation, the title of the
manuscript and contact information (correspondence
address,
e-mail, phone number, etc.).
A Certificate that the paper submitted is a piece of
original
and bona fide research work and has not been published
or being
considered for publication elsewhere.
Similarity Index (Plagiarism) Report from recognized
Software
(Turnitin). The acceptable Similarity Index is below
10%.
Contributions should be in English language only and in
conformity with Chandigarh University Law Review’s (CULR)
scheme and style.
Submissions should be made only through e-mail in PDF and MS
Word Formats.
Footnotes and citations should strictly conform to the Indian
Law Institute (ILI) pattern, failing which the paper shall not
be considered for peer review.
The submission of papers is open only for Academicians,
Practitioners, Ph.D. Research Scholars, and LL.M. students.
Undergraduate law students can make the submission only as
co-authors.
Co-authorship is allowed up to two co-authors. Hence there can
be a maximum of three authors (1 author and 2 co-authors).
No biographical information or references, including the name(s)
of the author(s), affiliation(s) and acknowledgements should be
included in the text of the manuscript, footnotes, or document
properties. All such information must be incorporated in the
covering letter accompanying the manuscript.
The word limit for Research Papers is between 4000 (minimum) to
8000 words (maximum). The word limit is inclusive of footnotes.
The word limit must be strictly adhered to.
The articles in the Journal shall be edited and published
according to the orthographical and grammatical rules of British
English.
In case of references from websites, complete URL address, along
with the last date of accessing the website should be mentioned.
Manuscripts shall be assessed by subjection to Blind Peer Review
Procedure. Reviewers shall not be informed of the author’s
name, institution, designation, or any other personal
information.
Copyright of all published papers shall exclusively vest with
the Chandigarh University Law Review (CULR). The submission of
work would imply that the contributor has assigned such rights
to CULR on its publication in the journal.
Authors are required to obtain written permission for the use of
any copyrighted material in the manuscript and must communicate
the same to the Editorial Board. Such material may include
tables, charts, graphs, reports, etc.
In case the manuscript is not published, the author shall be
intimated through e-mail and he/she may then send it for
publication elsewhere.
Mere submission of a contribution shall not confer any claim for
publication. The Editorial Board reserves all rights to take
decision to publish the contribution or not. The Board’s
decision as regards the interpretation of guidelines or any
other matter related to the publication shall be final.
Soft copy of the contributions should be emailed to at culr@cumail.in
On receipt of the manuscript, the Editorial Board shall screen
it to satisfy itself about the conformity of the manuscript with
the CULR terms, conditions, and policy.
A manuscript recommended by the referee as fit for publication
with necessary amendments (if any), shall be considered for
publication after the author submits the amended paper
accordingly. The author will be given one week to carry out the
suggested changes.
Submissions can be throughout the year on rolling basis. There
is no last date for submission of a manuscript.

Step 2 - Apply
After successfully creating your candidate profile for CUCET, you can proceed with choosing the Date for your examination. Complete your profile by logging into your CUCET account and choose an examination date as per your convenience and preference.
Step 3 - Submit
You become eligible for admission into Chandigarh University after clearing the CUCET examination. Following your attempt at CUCET, the result will shortly be intimated, based on which you can submit your application for admission and avail merit-based scholarship.
