PEO1: Designing and implementing Products & Services of global standards in the field of Fashion and Design, becoming designers, merchandisers and entrepreneurs.

PEO2: Becoming leading designers and entrepreneurs in the field of knitwears.

Program outcomes describe what students are expected to know and would be able to do by the time of graduation. These relate to the skills, knowledge and behaviors that students acquire as they progress through the program.

PO1: Disciplinary Knowledge & Skills: Achieving expertise in a specific design discipline through an understanding of its relationship with related domains, conducting independent research to advance knowledge in the field, and applying advanced theoretical and methodological approaches to analyze and solve complex problems within the discipline.

PO2: Complex problem-solving: To succeed in complex problem-solving, with an ability to conduct independent research to develop original solutions, apply advanced theoretical and practical knowledge to solve multidimensional problems, evaluate the effectiveness and ethical implications of problem-solving strategies, and effectively communicate findings to diverse audiences.

PO3: Critical thinking & Problem solving ability: To have the ability to independently conduct research, develop innovative solutions for intricate problems utilizing advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills, while analyzing and assessing the ethical implications of various approaches, critically evaluate and synthesize information from multiple sources to make informed decisions and solve complex problems and communicate intricate concepts and solutions effectively through different media

PO4: Creativity: To be able to design and execute original, interdisciplinary projects that push the boundaries of creativity and make significant contributions to the chosen field of design. Students will also be able to critically evaluate the ethical, political, and economic implications of creative works and develop strategies for promoting positive change through creativity.

PO5: Communication Skills: Learning to comprehend information from existing research resources, interpret and synthesise information for better clarity, effective communication of the findings in written and verbal communication, using words and visuals.

PO6: Analytical reasoning / thinking (Judgment and decision making): To be able to identify and develop appropriate design solutions and technology in context to the problem being addressed, users, regional concerns, global challenges and current design trends for establishing oneself as a design expert for both local and global environments.

PO7: Research-related skills: To possess advanced research skills and methodologies in design, apply research findings to foster innovation and creativity in the designs, and capability of independently developing and executing a major research project in a specialized area of design.

PO8: Coordinating/collaborating with others: To effectively lead and manage complex design projects through the application of advanced coordination and collaboration skills, while fostering innovation and creativity within design teams and leading interdisciplinary design initiatives.

PO9: Leadership readiness/qualities: To provide the students with entrepreneur skills and mindset required for establishing them as an innovator and creator, working towards providing solutions for the future generation.

PO10: Learning how to learn skills: To upgrade oneself by filtering and identifying the knowledge set and skills required for successful completion of the project in hand.

PO11: Digital and technological skills: To utilize digital tools and software with expert-level proficiency to create innovative designs and solutions to complex design challenges, while demonstrating creativity and innovation through the appropriate use of digital design tools and utilisation in real projects.

PO12: Multicultural competence and inclusive spirit: To equip students with the knowledge and skills to design solutions that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, and to collaborate effectively with diverse teams through cross-cultural communication.

PO13: Value inculcation: To be equipped with the skills to design innovative solutions that uphold ethical values, while addressing complex societal and environmental issues through the application of principles related to constitutional compliance, empathy, compassion, sustainability, and inclusivity, and effectively communicating their design work to engage in meaningful dialogue with peers in the field.

PO14: Autonomy, responsibility, and accountability: to demonstrate exceptional levels of independence and creativity in their design work by pushing the boundaries of current practices, take on leadership roles within the design community by mentoring junior designers and contributing to the development of the field, and exhibit accountability for the social, cultural, and environmental impacts of their designs by working to create and demonstrate  positive change and contribute to the betterment of society.

PO15: Environmental awareness and action  To build an ability amongst students to identify the given problem and provide the most accurate or efficient sustainable solution, keeping in mind the social, environmental and economic impact created by the sol: tion by understanding the SDGs

PO16: Community engagement and servic:    to demonstrate leadership and expertise in designing for social impact, through advanced research, critical analysis, and community-engaged design projects that promote equity, justice, and sustainable development.

PO17: Empathy: to demonstrate mastery of empathy as a foundational element of design practice, and apply advanced research, analysis, and creative problem-solving to design solutions that address complex social, cultural, and environmental challenges.
